Election counts are final, electees to be installed

The votes from last week's election have all been counted and the final numbers solidified the early preliminary figures. For State Senate Bob Dutton will once again serve District 31. While Dutton took a substantial lead in San Bernardino County against Democrat Ameenah Fuller, the margins were narrower in Riverside County.

T-Birds to play critical game this Friday

Three weeks ago Yucaipa had a 1-5 record and after suffering a 34-0 loss at home to Redlands - any thoughts of post season play seemed unreal. Yet, after last Friday's third straight Citrus Belt League win, 29-12 on the road over Carter, the reality of a CIF-playoff game appears very reasonable.

At the Nov. 10 Yucaipa City Council meeting, the council touched on several varied topics.
